October 26, 2024, Corral Canyon OHV

The October club trip was a fun scenic day trip to Corral Canyon OHV area in east San Diego County’s Cleveland National Forest.  We first traversed our way up to the Los Pinos Mountain Forest Service Lookout tower at over 4000 ft.  We toured the tower with the Forest Service fire personnel.  Then back down to the Corral Canyon trail and lunch at the Corral Canyon Campground.  We then looped around to Skye Valley trail and returned on Los Pinos Rd.  This is a scenic route with views of all the south county mountains including Mexico.
