Trip Description:

• Rating: Moderate with a descent down a rockslide and a short technical section through a rock garden.

Saturday: We’ll depart from the meeting spot and take a short drive to the trailhead. Most of the route is pretty mellow. There are two challenging sections (see above) and a few offshoots we can explore if the group desires. 

Time & Place to Meet:

• Meet: Saturday, 9-Dec, 9:00 am, Depart: 9:30 am
• Where: Jamul Gas & Food Mart

What to bring:

• Required:
  • Meals and snacks
  • Drinking water (Gallon per day per person, consider pet’s needs if applicable)
  • Pop-up shade or awning (if you have one)
  • Any necessary tire changing tools, including anti-theft lug nut keys
  • Sufficient fuel for your vehicle
• Recommended:
  • All-Terrain tires
  • Sunscreen and hat
  • Amateur 2m radio with external antenna (very highly recommended)
  • Any emergency & recovery gear you may have
