Trip Description

Rating: Easy, with moderate sections. 

Route: We will run some trails in the amazing Anza Borrego desert state park. Optionally, anyone can leave early or join late if your schedule demands. Hotel rooms are available for anyone wanting to enjoy some luxury in the desert. Camping is available for anyone wanting to rough it.

Time & Place to Meet:

  • Meet: Saturday, April 19, 9:00 am, Depart: 9:30 am
  • Where: TBD, based on the group’s decision. Please arrive fueled up.

What to bring:

  • Required:
    • All-terrain tires and full-sized spare
    • Any emergency & recovery gear you may have
    • Any necessary tire changing tools, including anti-theft lug nut keys
    • Sufficient fuel for your vehicle (we will stop to refuel as needed)
    • Meals and snacks for both days, unless you are enjoying the hotel option.
    • Drinking water (1 gallon per day per person, consider pet’s needs if applicable)
    • Camping gear appropriate for primitive camping, or nothing for the hotel option.
    • A Bundle of firewood (pooled with other campers)
  • Recommended:
    • Amateur 2m radio with external antenna
  • Recommended if camping:
